This piece is a poetic reflection on the act of loving oneself. Two figures on stage trace an idea of polarity and a journey from death to love, accompanied by music —the musician— and the deep, metallic sound of wind through brass.
The Nakedness evokes a place of intimacy where questions no longer exist. Beauty lies in the exposure of what is —in the simplicity of presence. Sometimes it’s the sublime touch of a hand exchanging warmth and sweat, sometimes the act of loving and sustaining love. It builds and destroys itself, like the act of breathing.
It is a dance of what enters each universe —what is swallowed to later regurgitate something new.

Two people who provoke the impulse to tighten the bond, yet wish to keep it loose enough to untie quickly.

The Nakedness is an act of death, like exhalation —emptying everything out so that something new may begin. At the same time, it is an act of construction, born from the illusion that this time, it might be definitive. The work could even be read backwards, revealing the journey and meaning of an emotional union —a piece that moves from black to white, from an enclosed space to an open one.
