While everything moves around us and the provocations to push our limits become constant threats, the unfolding of static existence offers us two choices: to remain mere spectators or to dare to seize the opportunities that certain dynamic circumstances may provide. A role is imposed on us, and we come to believe in that position even though an immense ocean of adventure surrounds us. The wind offers us gentle or intense impulses to set out, or challenges us to hold our ground, while pressure subtly pushes us to grow and supports us so we do not sink out of fear. Around us, everything happens, and our experiences mirror one another. Adversities and opportunities are there: we see them, we move, we remain.

Do we truly feel?

A pulse, sometimes invisible, sustains the oscillation of all that exists. Something repeats, something slips, something resists without knowing why. The waves echo through bodies that float between what is imposed and what is uncertain. Form fragments, structure falters, order fills with cracks. Is flow a journey or a destination? Is stillness an anchor or a possibility? In the suspension of time, in the tension between surrender and permanence, something breaks, something is born, something moves without a name. In choice, we find peace.

Where do we float?

ESZER

Founded in 2024 from the meeting between Chile and the Canary Islands, Compañía Eszer emerges with the purpose of transforming and being transformed through dance.

Its origin took shape in the living space of movement during its dance studies in Madrid, where the company began developing its first creations. Works such as “Oculus” reflected a deep artistic connection and a continuous dialogue that led them to explore dance as a bridge to the subtle dimension of existence.

Along their journey, they have presented pieces such as “Eufonía” at the Traslación Festival (Lanzarote, 2024) and premiered “UNARYS” on International Dance Day at UNAM (Mexico, 2025), later touring various festivals in Spain after being selected for the National Circuit Red Acieloabierto. They have participated in festivals such as Cádiz en Danza, Trayectos, Figueres es MOU, Abanea, Cuadernos Escénicos, Dantza Hirian, MASDANZA, Traslación, Brotes, and Vildanza, as well as taking part in gatherings such as Pirineos en Danza, Festival DZM, One More Night to Show at Descalzinha, and competitions such as the Festival 10 Sentidos.

Their most recent production is “Ojos del Océano,” a creation supported by the Cabildo of Gran Canaria through the Sala Insular de Teatro. They are currently presenting its short version in non-conventional spaces while progressing in the development of its extended format for stage and theatre.
